Research Project

Choose an artwork which you are particularly interested in and prepare a 500 word research report about it.

Your report should be divided into three parts (150-200 words each part):

Part 1: An overview of the artist, the work itself and the art movement.

Part 2: The social context the work was made in. That is, what was happening in history and politics at the time? How did this influence or impact the work?

Part 3: Analysis: what makes the work
 important/significant/valuable
 and your opinion of it?
Your teacher will notify you of draft
  and final due dates.

You need to include APA referencing and a 4-6 source
bibliography in your report.
